This time last week, we packed our bags and were headed to our nation’s capital for a BIM gathering at Penn Social. It was nice to connect with a close knit group, all of whom have common goals in mind: find ways to improve workflows, make things easier on the job site, and maybe even win some more work.
It was great to see the excitement in the room when we showed some of the cool functionality in the Assemble Mobile App and how it works with our core product. We were able to show how using the intuitive and familiar Assemble model viewer to navigate the models on the iPad was powerful and easy. In addition, showing how customers have the ability to view the model inventory, sort by specific systems, scopes or objects of your projects and add Assemble properties, codes, or status to any object or group of objects in the field was a huge bonus.
If you’ve never been to Washington DC, put it on your list. All of the monuments and museums are just incredible. Everywhere you turn, there’s something historic to see. You see these places on the news and in your 7th grade social studies books, but in person? It’s certainly something to experience for yourself.
One has to wonder if these structures would have looked a little different if they had the technology that we have access to today… like, say… Assemble Systems.
