Assemble on the Road: Houston

Apr 25, 2018

It was an action packed week in Houston for our Assemble Systems team. It was filled with food, fun and inspiration. And did we mention food? Houston sure knows how to eat.

To start off the week, we spent a few days at Advancing Project Controls. Joel, Ken, Samira & Kristen represented at the Assemble booth and we met with some great folks in the construction industry. It was great connecting with existing Assemble clients including Robins & Morton and DPR Construction. Our partners, Procore and Oracle Construction & Engineering were also on hand to showcase our integrations that are improving construction projects - making BIM data easily accessible to the office and the field.

On Thursday, we kicked it at The Karbach Brewery. The beers were flowing and yes, you guessed it, the food was scrumptious (especially that mac & cheese)!

John Mamuscia of Assemble got the party started before handing things off to Chester Bailey of Skanska and Robert Pleasants of Satterfield & Pontikes Construction. Tim Kelly and Kenneth Swanson of Assemble were also in the house, giving attendees a deeper look into what we’re all about.

As you may already know, Houston is home to the Johnson Space Center. While Kristen was in town, she had to stop by… because, well, how could she not? It’s pretty remarkable to think about what NASA is capable of doing. Now, Assemble isn’t NASA, but thinking about how much we’ve evolved is inspiring in itself… and we’re just getting started.
